FAQs

Is financial aid available for students of Mercer’s accelerated second-degree BSN track?

When you connect with your enrollment counselor, you’ll map out a plan financially for the ABSN track, as well as review funding options available to nursing students. Your enrollment counselor can help you complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) — the first step toward determining your eligibility for financial aid.

Can I work during the ABSN track?

We understand that some students may have a financial need to work while in the program; however, we strongly recommend against working while in our accelerated BSN program. With 21–22 credit hours of study each semester, Mercer’s ABSN program is like working a full-time job. When speaking with your enrollment counselor, be sure to let them know of any financial concerns you have.

What are my scholarship options as an ABSN student?

As a prospective Mercer ABSN student, you will have a variety of scholarship and financial aid options available, through a number of private and public institutions. Have additional questions about scholarships or financial aid? Contact our Office of Student Financial Planning at (678) 547-6444 for more information.
