FAQs

Is financial aid available for students of Mercer’s accelerated second-degree BSN track?

When you connect with your enrollment counselor, you’ll map out a financial plan for ABSN tuition, as well as review funding options available to nursing students. Your enrollment counselor can help you complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) — the first step toward determining your eligibility for financial aid.

Can I work during the ABSN track?

We understand that some students may have a financial need to work while in the program; however, we strongly recommend against working while in our accelerated BSN program. With 21–22 credit hours of study each semester, Mercer’s ABSN program is like working a full-time job. When speaking with your enrollment counselor, be sure to let them know of any financial concerns you have.

What are my scholarship options as an ABSN student?

As a prospective Mercer ABSN student, you will have a variety of scholarship and financial aid options available, through a number of private and public institutions. Have additional questions about scholarships or financial aid? Contact our Office of Student Financial Planning at (678) 547-6444 for more information.
